GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY OF KFM NEW COWSHED

GROUNDBREAKING CEREMONY OF KFM NEW COWSHED

Khmer Fresh Milk Co., Ltd. has officially commenced construction of the KFM New Cowshed Project in Takeo Province, Cambodia, as part of its strategy to expand dairy farming operations and strengthen domestic fresh milk production. For this project, CBC has been entrusted as the Design & Build Contractor, delivering the project from permitting design through construction.

ISRAELI STANDARDS FOR MODERN DAIRY BARN DESIGN

In modern dairy farming, a dairy cowshed is far more than a shelter for livestock. It is a critical facility that directly influences milk production, animal welfare, herd health and the overall operational efficiency of the farm.

Modern dairy barns are designed to optimize natural ventilation, temperature control, hygiene, herd management and animal comfort. These factors contribute to higher productivity, lower operating costs and more sustainable agricultural practices.

Israel is widely recognized as one of the world's leading countries in dairy farming, with advanced barn design and herd management technologies that have been adopted by dairy producers around the globe. Its design standards focus on maximizing operational efficiency while ensuring long-term sustainability and high-quality milk production.

KFM NEW COWSHED – EXPANDING DAIRY FARM OPERATIONS IN CAMBODIA

Khmer Fresh Milk Co., Ltd. is a Cambodian dairy farming company established in 2017. The company currently operates Kirisu Farm, covering approximately 300 hectares with a herd of 700–1,000 Holstein cattle, including 500–600 milking cows, producing an average of 10,000–15,000 liters of fresh milk per day.

The KFM New Cowshed Project forms part of the company's long-term strategy to expand its dairy farming capacity and increase domestic fresh milk production. Upon completion, the project will enhance production efficiency, improve farming conditions and support the growing demand for fresh dairy products in Cambodia.
